How we can help

Know more about every customer, site and area you already have on file

Your customer list, your sites and your sales by postcode already hold a lot. Match each one to what the public record says about it — the company’s filed accounts, who owns it, the people and businesses around an address — and the next decision rests on evidence, not a hunch.

What enriching your records means

Your own records stay as they are. Each row gains new columns from the public record, matched on something you already hold.

1You keep

A list you already trust: customers, suppliers, sites, sales by postcode.

2We add

What the public record says about each row, matched on a company number, a postcode or an address you already have.

3You decide

With the new columns in front of you: which prospect to call, how much credit to give, where to open next.

What it looks like for your role

Four questions, each answered by joining two of the 29 datasets in this catalogue to a list you already keep.

For Management

“What does the market around us actually look like, and is it growing?”

How many businesses like yours operate in each area, by size and industry, and how many started or closed each year, including the years before you arrived.

You keep
Your patch, territory or delivery-area postcodes

You decide
Where the market around your sites is growing, and where it is not.

For Marketing

“Which areas actually respond, and which just absorb spend?”

One turns your own spend and customer records into areas you can compare like for like; the other explains why they differ.

Any postcodes at all — customers, sites, staff, deliveries

You decide
Which areas to spend in, compared like for like.

The data is free. Making it line up with yours is the work.

Downloading takes minutes. These are the parts that take longer, and the reason most public data never reaches the decision it could inform.

  • Records rarely match first time

A company name typed three ways, a postcode without its space, an area that has since been redrawn. We match on something exact where we can, and show you what did not match, so you know how far to trust the result.

  • Some of it is not a table at all

Filed company accounts arrive as one tagged document per company, not rows in a spreadsheet. Reading the figures out of each one takes specialist software.

  • It keeps changing

Publishers release new data daily, monthly or once a year, and some releases repeat what came before. Folding each one in without counting anything twice is ongoing work, not a one-off download.

  • Every licence here asks for a credit

All 29 datasets can be used in your business, including in something you sell, as long as you credit where the data came from. What the licences mean.

How we work with you

  1. You tell us the decision

One question you want answered, and what you already keep. A sentence is enough; there is no brief to write.

  2. We tell you what fits, free

Which public data answers it, who publishes it, how often it changes and whether it will match your records. That answer costs nothing, whether or not you go further.

  3. We match it to your records

If you want to go further, we line the public data up with yours on the key you already hold and show you what did not match. Before that starts, we tell you what it involves.

  4. We keep it current

Each new release goes in as the publisher puts it out, so the answer you rely on stays true.

Tell us what you want to decide

Tell us the decision and what you keep: a customer list, your sites, sales by postcode. We will tell you, free, which public data fits, whether it will match your records, and what it would take to keep the two together.
